Have You Ever…
Have you ever looked at your life and feel like things are falling apart?
Yeah, me too!

It is easy to feel that way because society (and us individually) can have impossible standards to live up to.
Even if you have failed at something,, don’t lose your hope.
Failing is a part of life.
And everyone has failed at something…
- failed marriage (like me)
- failed a test
- failed to live up to expectations
- failed to live up to your own standards (like me)
- failed at relationships
- failed at fulfilling your life purpose
- failed at making others happy
- failed at life (so it seems)
But there is good news.
Let me share it with you below.
You Are NOT A Failure
You are not…
- a waste of time
- a waste of a life
- a lost cause
- lost forever
- unredeemable
- beyond repair
- beyond God’s love and reach
- beyond the love of your family and friends
You are NOT a failure.
Falling short in life and in your goals doesn’t make you a failure.
Let me share a quick story with you.
Imagine being a talented basketball player.
Now imagine you losing to the same team over and over again.
Some people may call you a show-off, lacking leadership skills, or the lacking the intangibles of a winner.
Instead of complaining about losing to the same team and staying stuck, you choose to get better.
AND ONE DAY, YOUR DAY COMES!
You not only defeat that team you couldn’t get past…
But you end up winning 6 championships in the span of 8 years.
Ladies and gentlemen, this guy is Michael Jordan.
You may have heard of him; one of the, if not the greatest, basketball players of all time.
Jordan’s Bulls lost to the Pistons for a few years in a row until a breakthrough happened.
He didn’t let failing make him a failure.
You can do the same too.
You may not be a world class basketball player but you are special in God’s eyes.
You can bounce back strong from failing by becoming better, not bitter.
Failing does NOT make you a failure.

CONCLUSION
I’m not saying that your failures aren’t real.
Because they very much are.
But don’t allow your mistakes to define you or your life.
You are not a failure.
Use your failures are opportunities to grow and improve.
Don’t stay stuck in your thoughts about what did or didn’t happen.
This is easier said than done.
But you owe it to yourself to become better each day, one step at a time.
God bless you and I hope this encouraged you.
