It’s a miserable, dreadful place.
All you see is the darkness.
You are fighting an enemy that seems to be unbeatable.
All you can hear is the sound of labored breathing.
A feeling of nervousness creeps upon you.

It’s NOT a Jedi Knight battle against Darth Vader.
It’s you struggling in your own thoughts.

Our thoughts!
Thoughts have the power to create our reality.
Let me explain a little further.
The Power of Thought
Our thoughts form how we behave.
This is why it is so important not to allow negative thoughts to invade our minds.
Emotions like fear can paralyze us from doing great things.
So, how do we fight back against fear and other emotions that keep us bound?
I imagine you are not a Jedi with a light saber.
But you DO have power over poor thinking!
Let me share with you some things I do to curb the negativity.
- Listen to something positive for at least 30 minutes a day.
- Cut down on screen time, especially on your smart phone.
- Spend some time journaling. Get your thoughts out of your head onto paper. Write down your feelings and emotions on paper. THIS resource can help.
- Engage in a hobby or learn something new to help stretch your mind.
- Avoid negative people, social media, and content as much as possible.
Conclusion
There is so much negativity in our world today.
The 24 hour news cycle, social media influence, inflation, among much more can keep us in a constant state of anxiety.
But you can fight back with the force powers of positivity.
You can fight the forces of the dark side, even if you are not Master Kenobi or Yoda.
Feed mind your with positivity each day and you will restore peace to the galaxy (of your mind.)
