The Lord’s Prayer Remixed

The Lord’s Prayer

One of Jesus’ most famous prayers happens in Matthew 6: 9.

His followers asked Him how they should pray.

Jesus responded with a simple, yet profound prayer.

The prayer by Jesus only lasts a few verses.

It gives the followers of Jesus a blueprint of prayer that we can follow today.

The prayer goes like this (if you are unfamiliar with it)

“ ‘Our Father in heaven,

hallowed be your name,

10 your kingdom come,

your will be done,

on earth as it is in heaven.

11 Give us today our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our debts,

as we also have forgiven our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from the evil one

One thing I enjoy doing is making the Bible, God’s Word accessible to everyone.

So, I thought to do a remixed version of the Lord’s Prayer.

This is, of course, created for a modern audience.

Leave a comment to let me know what you think of it.

When it comes to talking to God, you always know what to say.

Come with it big bro Jesus, teach us how to pray.

Jesus, full of all light responded with the goods, sharing a prayer that can said in all cities, in all hoods.

Father God, You deserve all praise because of your name.

When it comes to amazing holy standards, we are not the same.

So, we serve you with our lives, though sometimes we make a fuss.

Your Kingdom has to come and it must come through us.

Don’t leave us alone to do things our way.

We need that love, those breadcrumbs each day.

The Christian life, it’s hard to live this, Me and others like me need that forgiveness.

The enemy nudges me the most, so I ask You Father to keep me close.

I think I did good on this.

Thank you for checking it out!

God bless you and I hope you enjoyed it.
