Finish Strong!

Setbacks and Mistakes

2025 has been a challenging year for me.

I have had my fair share of mistakes and setbacks.

There were many promises I made to myself that I failed to keep.

The truth is that I could have done a lot better than I have.

Maybe you are like me.

Full of optimism and promise but failing to deliver.

However, we can take solace in the fact that the human experience is all about mistakes.

And we can be comforted know that we still have time left in 2025.

Let Us Finish Strong

Watch the video below or you can keep reading the post.

The only option is to finish strong.

This means to let the past go and press forward.

I’m reminded of a Bible verse here that I would like to share.

The verse is Philippians 3:13, a familiar passage of scripture. (NASB)

forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead

The Apostle Paul gives us the recipe to finishing strong.

This recipe has two ingredients:

  • Forgetting what lies behind.
  • Pressing forward to what lies ahead.

We should forget what we did or didn’t do earlier this year.

The past is gone, and we can’t change it.

But we can press forward for these next months.

Give life the best you can for the rest of 2025 and beyond.

I can best sum things up with the statement below.

“DO THE BEST YOU CAN WITH WHAT YOU HAVE WHERE YOU ARE RIGHT NOW!”

You can do it and I’m rooting for you.

Conclusion

Philippians 3:13 tells us to move forward leaving what has happened behind.

The great thing is that we get a chance to reset each day.

Each day is a new opportunity to do and be better.

We have the chance to make the best of today, each day.
