Fall Power Comicon Day!

Today was the day of Power Comicon!

I have been looking forward to this day since the early comic convention I attended in March.

It was a fun time had and a great day!

I spent a little too much money.

But if you have been to a convention at any kind, you can easily spend over budget.

I will share some of the highlights with you below.

Power Comicon Recap

EARLY ARRIVAL

The Power Comicon was held in Florence, South Carolina.

It is one of the most anticipated events of the year for our smaller city.

I met a few friends at the con an hour before the show started.

Dozens of people were lined up, ready to enjoy the event.

SO MUCH TO SEE

Attendees were able to buy some of everything, from comic books to video game consoles to movies.

Of course, I was most excited to see the comic books.

There were thousands to choose from.

Art, toys, video games, and collectibles were also a major part of this event.

One of the best parts of this event is to see what people made by hand.

It’s extremely impressive to see the talent and creativity of others.

LOSING BADLY IN MARIO KART

I connected with a friend and two other people for a little gaming.

The first game was the X-Men cabinet.

The four of us kicked butt and took names…LOL..

The next game was Mario Kart for the N64, if I remember correctly.

I chose Waluigi just to try something different.

We did 3 races and I came in last for each one…SMH

I truly failed in epic fashion LOL.

COMIC BOOKS GALORE

I was fortunate to pick up some cool comic books and art pieces.

I’ll share them below.

Power Comicon Pickups

I love getting comics like this to be exposed to the great artwork, stories, and awesome characters.

Conclusion

This was a great day to be a nerd.

I love to see when people have the opportunity to let it all hang out, and be themselves.

Most of the time, nerds are not afforded the opportunity like this to express themselves.

It is especially cool to see, especially in a small town like Florence, SC.

I’m already looking forward to the next comic book convention in 2027.
