Happy Superman Day 2026!

Up, Up, and Away!

This guy always seems to show up at the time where he is needed.

He’s been called…The Man of Steel, The Big Blue Boy Scout, and many others.

This is Superman!

Superman is my favorite superhero.

It always amazes me how someone with amazing power uses that power help others in need.

Superman’s origins trace back to Krypton when he was named Kal-El.

Kal-El was just a child when he was sent away on a spaceship towards earth as his home planet was destroyed.

When he landed to earth in a small Kansas town, Smallville.

There, he was found by Jonathan and Martha Kent.

Thy found him, adopted him, and named him Clark.

Because of our sun, he gained great power and thus became Superman.

He uses his great powers to defend the earth from threats and its citizens from injustice.

Here is a drawing and some of my comic books featuring Superman:

Let me share with you 3 things I love most about Superman.

3 Things I Love About Superman

Here are 3 things I love most about Superman.

HIS GREAT POWER

Because of our yellow sun, Superman has gained great power!

His skin is thick enough to withstand bullets.

He can fly and has amazing speed.

His only weakness is due to a green looking rock called Kryptonite.

HIS MORAL COMPASS

Superman has a great sense of morality.

This is because of his parents, Jonathan and Martha Kent.

He has a great sense of values from his upbringing with the Kents.

No matter the threat, he approaches it the attitude of doing the right thing.

TEAM PLAYER

Superman is perhaps the strongest member of the Justice League.

The Justice League is a gathering of superheroes, working together to fight the biggest threats of the earth.

Despite his great strength and power, he is willing to be a team player to get the job done.

His amazing power has made him a natural leader of the Justice League.

Conclusion

Superman is a great superhero, worthy of celebration.

Despite his first comic book over 80 years ago, the Man of Steel is still as popular as ever.

A special kudos goes to Joe Shuster and Jerry Siegel, the men behind the creation of the Superman character and comic books.

The Superman franchise has spawned many movies and other characters, like Supergirl.

I’m excited to see what else comes out of the Superman universe.

Let me know what you think of Superman.
