Name Change
Hello and Happy Monday!
I decided to change the name of this Monday blog post to the “Monday Morning Nerd.”
It just sounds appropriate for this content.
I appreciate you checking out these posts.
I want to share what I’m playing, drawing, reading, followed by an encouraging message.
So, here is what I’ve been reading.
Superman and Batman: Sorcerer Kings.
I did finish issues 2 and 3 of Superman and Batman: Sorcerer Kings.
This is a change of pace to the normal comics I read featuring Superman and Batman.
The comics were filled with time travel, magic, and a few unique twists.
I found both issues interesting with our superheroes trying to stop warlocks from unlocking incredible magic.
I would definitely suggest reading these.

Professor Xavier Drawing
So, I took on the task of drawing Professor Xavier of the X-Men.
The drawing was very difficult to pull off.
I wanted to challenge myself and my skill, so I thought I would give it a try.
It’s not a perfect piece.
But I’m happy with the way it turned out.

Speaking of artwork, I have been working on something special.
When I was younger, I wanted to be an artist.
I was intrigued by Saturday morning cartoons, Bob Ross, and many others.
I recently created a YouTube channel focused primarily on drawing and hand lettering.

Debtor: Decent Action Puzzle Game
As I mentioned last week, I have been looking to play more puzzle games.
On that note, my most recent game was “Debtor.”
Debtor is an action puzzle game.
You play as a man looking to collect his debts.
The game features 30 levels.
It’s unfortunate, because the game could have benefited from a few more levels.
You can use bombs to destroy barriers, enemies, and create new paths.
The gameplay is fairly simplistic and not overly difficult.
If you can find this game on sale, I suggest picking it up.

Finally, a short word of encouragement.
The Blame Game
The average person, including myself, complains way too much.
We blame other people, our past, our upbringing, the government, our parents, the school system, social media for how we have turned out or for how the world is.
Most of what we complain about and blame others for; we have the power to change.
That complaining and blaming is in our DNA.
In the book of Genesis, Adam blamed Eve for eating of the forbidden fruit.
We have more control over our lives than we think.
If nothing else, we can control our response and our attitude towards life.
We can’t control every single thing that happens, but we can make the effort to respond in the right way.
Let us focus more on responding to life the right way instead of complaining and blaming others.
