So, let me share first what I have been playing.
Taking It Back 16 Bits
I decided to play some old school Sega Genesis a few days ago.

The Genesis has some great games I’ve never played before.
I have been playing “Zombies Ate My Neighbors.”
You take on the role of teens looking to save their neighborhood from a zombie invasion.
The game has classic 16 Bit action you expect from the Genesis.
This is a shooter game that keeps you on your toes.
Zombies are coming from everywhere and you have to save your neighbors to open up the exit.
I’m only a few levels in, but I’m enjoying the game.
Next, let’s check out what I’ve been drawing.
A Popeye Antagonist!
I love drawing cartoon characters.
I’m always excited to dig up a cartoon character to draw each week.
This particular character comes from the “Popeye” franchise.
I decided to draw Bluto.
Bluto is the antagonist to Popeye in the fight for Olive Oyl’s love.
Here’s how it turned out.
I think it turned out well.
It normally takes me about 20 – 30 minutes to get a drawing done.
This sketch was a little bit quicker.
Here is what I have read this weekend.
“Knighted” Comic Book!
Since I have gotten back into reading comic books and graphic novels, I have been introduced to some great stories and characters.
My most recent read is no exception.
I read “Knighted.”
This has nothing to do with the Batman franchise, as I first thought.
The story follows a regular guy performing super heroic feats due to a technologically advanced suit, becoming The Knight.
The Knight is tracking down a crime organization.
It is an interesting comic.
I have never been exposed to this particular series before.
Check out more of my thoughts on the comic below.
Most of the time, I’m good at following single issue comic stories.
This is one of those where I’d need to read previous issues.
However, I would recommend checking out this story.
Now, let’s end things with an encouraging message for your week.
You Are NOT Alone
Life can be quite difficult.
We all are going through something, whether big or small.
The struggles, frustration, and disappointments of everyday life can leave us feeling abandoned and lost.
However, it is during our struggles where God does His best work.
The truth is that we are NOT alone.
God is working behind the scenes for us.
We have to call upon Him, accept Him as Lord, and trust in Him.
Let us be encouraged in the fact that God is with us, no matter how deep the valley seems.
