It’s Another Monday
Happy Monday.
Let’s be excited for another week.
Welcome to the Monday Morning Nerd.
This is where I share what I’ve been reading, drawing, watching, playing, followed by a word of encouragement.
Hoping you have a wonderful, awesome week!
Let me share with you the awesome movie I watched this weekend.
Batman and Harley Quinn Movie
Most of the Batman animated movies I have watched are pretty well done.
Batman and Harley Quinn is no exception.
This animated movie sees Batman and Nightwing attempting to stop a plot of Poison Ivy.
Ivy wants to turn everyone into plants to “save the earth.”
In comes Harley Quinn.
Batman and Nightwing enlist the help of Harley to help stop Poison Ivy’s plot.
The movie was well done.
While there are a lot of comedic moments in this movie, there is enough action to keep you going.

Huckleberry Hound Drawing
Huckleberry Hound is one of my favorite cartoon characters.
This is a classic Hanna Barbera cartoon character.
I have been drawing 50 famous characters on another channel.
One of the drawings in this book is Huckleberry Hound.
This was a quick sketch.
I think it turned out well.

First X-Men Issue
I got the chance to read a reprint of the first issue of X-Men.
It was such a great read.
This comic book introduces us to Professor Xavier and his school of mutants.
We also see the appearance of super villain Magneto.
This was an excellent first issue with a great story.
I could definitely recommend reading this one, if you are able to get it.

Reset and Refresh
Life comes at us fast and furiously.
There is so much going on in our daily lives.
Family, work, school, our friends require so much of us.
Life can get stale, like we are living the same day over and over.
We need a fresh restart to keep ourselves going.
There should be no shame in us desiring renewal.
Renewal is a biblical thing.
Let’s look at Psalms 51:10. (KJV)
Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
Renewal may look like stepping away from social media, looking for a new job, starting a new business, or meeting new friends.
Whatever renewal may look like for us individually, we have to take advantage of that.
Check out the video below to see more of my perspective.
A reset helps us to be better and to do better going forward.
